WEST END 1 BEDS | 2 BEDS | TOWNHOUSES | HOUSES
There are few areas of Vancouver that are more convenient and just truly awesome than the West End. It is basically the older residential area of Downtown Vancouver. Community is a word to describe this area. The residents of the West End are very proud of their area. There are parades, festivals, and always some cool community events going on.
Its boundaries are Burrard Street to the East, Georgia St to the North, and every other edge is either Stanley Park or English Bay beach. You are never further than 6 blocks from a beach in the West End. The main drag through the West End is Davie Street, which is also home to Vancouvers Gay District, which immediately should give you a mental picture of how fun this area is.
Nearly 45,000 reside in the West End, as it has some of the best view apartments ever with sunset outlooks that will blow your mind. It is a younger feel too with the majority of its residents between 20 and 39 years of age. 75% of the West End is apartment buildings over 5 stories. There are schools for families that want to stay downtown as well. King George Secondary and Lord Roberts Elementary allow for this.
The West End has everything: shopping, grocery stores, amazing restaurants, St. Pauls Hospital, beaches, Stanley Park, and and and. It really is a great place to live. Ever summer you can even walk down to the beach to enjoy the Festival of Lights fireworks celebration. RESTAURANTSAMENITIES
