OAKRIDGE

The first thing most Vancouverites think when they hear “Oakridge” is.......shopping! But this quiet neighbourhood is much more than just the location of one of the city’s most popular malls. It’s formal boundaries are 41st and 57th Avenues on the north and south, with Oak and Cambie streets acting as the east/west edges.

The area around 41st and Oak St. has become a hub for the Jewish community, with a recreation center, seniors home and more. Oakridge is home to two parks, Tisdall and Columbia park and two elementary schools, Sir William Van Home and Dr. Annie Jaimeson elementary.

Cambie and 41st is also home to a brand new Skytrain station giving quick access to downtown, Richmond, and the airport.

The houses in this area boast big lots and mature trees, along with close proximity to the mall.
