COAL HARBOUR
Overlooking Stanley Park and the North Shore mountains, Coal Harbour stretches from Canada Place (Burrard St.) to Denman Street and from Alberni St to the shores of the Burrard Inlet.
This is considered a very new area of Downtown Vancouver with most of the buildings being built within the past 15 years.
It is home to some of Vancouver's finest residences with the likes of The Shangri-La, The Harbour Green towers, Carina and Callisto, and the Bayshore towers.
High-Rise Real Estate in Coal Harbour is the most expensive per square foot in all of Vancouver. A place to see and be seen, it is home to many celebrities, professional sports players, and the internationally wealthy. Just recently there have been a number of high end restaurant
s and grocery stores make their way into Coal Harbour, as this was one of the only drawbacks of the area. It is now a fully sustainable community, and one of the most highend in the city. A great place to live for the business professionals that work downtown.
In addition to its prestige, there is an amazing harbour side waterfront walkway and bicycle route along Coal Harbour that connects with the Stanley Park Seawall. From your home you can walk a maximum of 4 blocks and be seaside. The seawall then runs counter-clockwise around the 10km (6 ΒΌ mile) Stanley Park Seawall, one of the most beautiful trails you will ever see.
